In our effort to enhance Malaysia’s attractiveness as a hub for international talent, we have established a robust online data platform and service-driven system designed to efficiently process Residence Pass – Talent (RP – T) applications. The RP – T, a 10 – year work pass for highly skilled expatriates, is implemented by Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad (“TalentCorp”) in partnership with the Ministry of Home Affairs (“MOHA”) and the Immigration Department of Malaysia (“JIM”). Designed as a long-term solution, the RP-T provides a competitively priced option for attracting top talent to Malaysia.
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing the RP-T experience, we are pleased to announce the following new features and services:
- Reduced Processing Time for the Endorsement Stage: In collaboration with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Immigration Department of Malaysia, we have reduced the endorsement processing time to seven (7) working days, down from fourteen (14) working days.
- Expansion of the Expatriate Satellite Centre (ESC) at Kuala Lumpur International Airport Terminal 2: This marks a significant milestone for the Immigration Department and TalentCorp, as it illustrates our focus on enhancing operational effectiveness and expediting service delivery. With the launch of ESC at KLIA Terminal 2, RP-T pass endorsements are now available at both KLIA Terminals 1 and 2, further enhancing the nation’s appeal and improving management efficiency to meet the immediate needs of expatriates.
In our continuous effort to enhance our facilities and provide improved end – to – end services, please be advised that the following revised service fees will be reflected in the new structure:
