Malaysia’s Budget 2022 is scheduled to be tabled on Friday, 29 October with the inclusion of the “Keluarga Malaysia” approach. The following are the goals for Budget 2022:
As the vaccination rate in the country has been accelerated in the past months, the country’s economy is expected to fully reopen really soon. Budget 2022 is expected to support the recovery of the economy, especially for the industries that were impacted during the pandemic.

Wai Ling has over 10 years of working experience in tax practice on both Corporate Tax and Indirect Tax. She advises on Malaysian tax issues and has assisted numerous leading overseas and locally headquartered multinationals. Her clients come from a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, insurance, trading, services, and plantation. For Indirect Tax, Wai Ling has been involved in both Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Sales Tax and Service Tax (SST) engagements with experience assisting clients with their GST and SST implementation projects, compliance services, advisory services, and more. |
