SPEAKERS:
Dr. Madhavan Nair (Head, MYNext Operations). He is the Head of MYNext Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of TalentCorp, which focuses on engaging with higher education institutions in Malaysia, with the main purpose of supporting the government agenda on addressing the issue of graduate employability in Malaysia. With prevalent experience in the academia for the past 19 years holding various administrative positions, Dr. Madhavan is known for his expertise and insights on the issues and challenges faced by students, universities and industries in nurturing and hiring the right talents. Dr. Madhavan holds a Doctor of Philosophy from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and has obtained professional certifications in various Information Technology related professions, including the Huawei Certified Network Administrator, Huawei Certified Academic Instructor and AWS Cloud Foundation. |

Sathiamurthi Ratnam (Head – TalentCorp Group Client Relationship Management). Sathia manages the MYXpats Centre’s Client Relationship Management (CRM) operations where he is responsible for ensuring that the appropriate CRM operational processes are practiced across MYXpats. He has 18 years of experiences in customer relations and operational improvements in various industries, including Food & Beverage, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), Banking & Finance, and Retail & Wholesales. Sathia holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Cardiff Metropolitan University, Wales. He is also a Malaysian Institute of Management Certified Professional Coach |

Nakeeran (Manager – Business Development, MYNext). Nakeeran primarily oversees the SME, Mid – Size , MNC, Inter – Agencies, Investment Bodies, Business Associations & Chambers in TalentCorp’s MYNext department. He has established profound relations with key players, organizations, and leading associations of the above sector to drive collaborations for talent development. With over 14 years of client management, business development and sales/marketing experience in Astro, Digi and Oyo Malaysia, Nakeeran started out in TalentCorp in 2022 working on engagements with business associations & employers focusing on addressing mismatches between the talent market supply and demand. Prior to TalentCorp, Nakeeran was a Head of Business Development in Oyo Malaysia where he managed prominent accounts mainly in the budget hotel sector. Nakeeran has a Master’s in Business Administration (International Business) from UNITAR International University. |

Aidi Ahmad Ghazi (Assistant Manager – Residence Pass – Talent Verification, Vetting & Secretariat, MYXpats Centre). Aidi joined MYXpats since October 2016. In his current role, he is responsible for ensuring that the operational procedures of RP – T (Residence Pass – Talent) applications under the application stage (Stage 1) are maintained throughout the process. This involves direct communication with Government stakeholders (Immigration Department of Malaysia (JIM), Ministry of Home Affairs Malaysia (KDN) and TalentCorp Group (Management), to schedule the monthly RP-T Secretariat meetings to decide on the RP-T applications and ensure compliance with the associated procedures. Before joining MYXpats, he worked as an account manager at the expatriate Services Centre, MDEC in Cyberjaya, to provide similar services to expatriates (for Employment Pass, Professional Visit Pass, and RP – T). He holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from the University of Bath, England, United Kingdom. |

Dr. YI – REN WANG (Associate Professor I – Organizational Behavior, Asia School of Business). She earned her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Alabama, and her master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York. In 2022, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology honored her with the 2022 S. Rains Wallace Dissertation Award.
Her research interests encompass work motivation, fairness, precarious work, workplace inequality, work – family dynamics, employee well – being, and workplace trauma. Her work has been widely published in international peer – reviewed academic journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Business and Psychology. Additionally, her research has been featured in respected regional media outlets such as the Edge and the Star Malaysia. |
