MDBC is recognized as one of the most active chambers in Malaysia. In addition to the activities that we plan in KL, we also organize informative briefings on a wide variety of topics once a quarter in Penang and Johor, providing more convenience and value to our members located throughout the peninsula. Our chapters in Penang and Johor enable us to provide on – the – ground support for our northern and southern region members.
MDBC Penang Chapter
2020 marked the 10th anniversary of the MDBC Penang Chapter. The MDBC Penang Chapter was launched to provide a more conducive business environment and establish more networking opportunities for members located in Penang and the northern region. It also organizes informative briefings on varied topics such as Business Continuity, IP, HR, Logistics, and the Malaysian Budget. Cooperation with local Penang member institutions such as NCIA and Kulim Technology Park has led to more informative events and closer ties. There is also support from, and cooperation with, the Netherlands Embassy and Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency to organize more events in Penang.

MDBC Johor Chapter
The MDBC Johor Chapter was launched on 3 May, 2017. In compliment to the MDBC Penang Chapter, the MDBC Johor Chapter will serve the needs of council members in Johor and the southern region of the country. It also serves members based in Singapore and allows MDBC to directly reach our members in the southern region to help facilitate the further growth of business activities and investment.
