Dear MDBC members,
Sustainability is becoming an ever more important aspect of doing business and the Dutch government expects companies to conduct business responsibly. To learn about the latest developments in these fields, and share best practices and challenges, we invite the Dutch – Malaysian business community for an interactive closed – door breakfast event on Wednesday 30 November.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Malaysian Dutch Business Council will organize this breakfast event, themed ‘Putting Sustainability Into Practice’, as part of a series of dedicated events to celebrate our Month of Entrepreneurship. During this event, visiting Erasmus University Rotterdam professor, Rob van Tulder, will share the latest insights on making sustainability your business. He will address questions such as: How can companies effectively contribute to sustainable development and put sustainability into practice? What are the frameworks that corporations can use to drive actions on the SDGs?
Date: Wednesday, 30 Nov
Time: 08:00 – 10:00 hrs
Venue: Colony @ KLCC (Jalan Kia Peng)
Afterwards, interactive roundtables will be led by speakers from Control Union, Dutch Lady Milk Industries, LBB International, and others, sharing insights in their approach to sustainability and opening the discussion to other participants. Benefit from the discussion on achieving quick wins, engaging your supply chain, and addressing long term challenges.
